A Family Recipe - original printed canvas so I find it fittingI was inspired by a vintage Fire King red dot bowl from my gran. I always love researching the time period of objects. The dot bowl is 1950s. But most of the items shown are from the 1940s. I found that during the 20s 40s women were using old flour sacks to create clothing for their families. When the flour and seed sack companies realized this, they started manufacturing flour sacks with colorful patterns. The beautiful glass Jadeite measuring cup.
