Lab testing showed that the green mineral is not true Emerald since it does not contain Beryl. Instead, it is a newly identified Chromium rich member of the Mica family, now known as Emerald Mica or Chrome Muscovite. Even though it is not a traditional Emerald, the stone still shows deep green color and striking matrix patterns. Each piece is hand carved and polished by
