Looking out into the dark abyss on an overcast day it was the beginning of the dive and I was in 25m of water

This was a heart warming encounter as I interacted with this magnificent fish for almost half an hour

it is very placid and my main focus was to be as still as possible and breathe slowly so as not to spook them as I waited patiently for a big female to swim slowly past me
