Red Hot . . . empty January 2022This painting uses several hues of the color red plus black and white. The combinations made peaches and pinks which seem to deviate from the red. Looking closely you will notice that even the gray has a reddish cast. Red is such a strong color that it was hard to bring balance into the design. At times it felt like a red hot mess.
