Retain the hardness while toughness kept
The color change happens because the nicotine oxidizes over time, and its likely that an e-liquid with a higher nicotine content will darken more than one with less nicotine
Research shows that nicotine in e-cigarettes increases the infiltration of inflammatory cells, including eosinophils, from the blood into the airways, stimulates the production of type 2 inflammatory cytokines such as IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13, and promotes mucin secretion, exacerbating airway inflammation and hyperresponsiveness, ultimately worsening asthma [66, 67]
Studies distinguishing between e-cigarettes with and without nicotine found increases in endothelial progenitor cells, endothelial vesicles, plasma myeloperoxidase, arterial stiffness, changes in nicotine receptors, alveolar macrophages, and mononuclear phagocytes, leading to altered inflammatory responses and increased pulmonary susceptibility in users of nicotine-containing e-cigarettes (29, 41, 46)
